COWTI has been a certified training provider for the Government of Alberta, Municipal Affairs, Private Sewage since 2022.

In February 2026, we received approval to deliver the full training program for individuals who want to work in the wastewater industry in Alberta with the required Certificate of Competency in Private Sewage. This approval is granted by the Government of Alberta, Municipal Affairs, Private Sewage which is the certifying authority for onsite wastewater practitioners in Alberta.
