Welcome to Phase 1 of the 3 part online component of your Certificate of Competency training, allowing you to become an OWTS practitioner in Alberta. Learn about the legislation that governs septic systems in Alberta, as well as the composition and strength of wastewater.
Learn all about the interaction of soil and effluent, how to conduct a complete site investigation and about the infrastructure of septic tanks. This is Phase 2 out of 3 and includes units 4, 5 and 6 of the 10 total units that comprise the online portion of the training.
